Yeah it's sad people drop this cause of Sun & Moon or they don't like Goh, I still watch pokemon for I love this gem and this series version is not that bad cause it breaks the tradition on what all the other seasons were doing, ("Just following the flow that adapted to the games and manga")

Yeah Sun and Moon, the design aside everything was nice and the battle was great, but sadly what most people look for is not plot, but design zzz

The Sun and Moon anime imo is WAY better than XYZ. Don't get me wrong XYZ is in my top 3 but I just loved Sun and moon way better

True, but such nicely animated battles were rare spectacles in Alola. Ever since Pokemon Anime switched art and animation styles after Kalos, they have yet to make the general battle look dynamic and exciting. IMO even some major battles in Alola and Galar have very lousy animation. Whereas most XY, XYZ battles were visual treats.

Well not every single one. You forgot Misty? she was all time about battling and she is now gym leader in cerulean. But well i understand kinda that contest crap. would be boring if both would just focus gym battles and pokemon league in the end.

Misty's gym is run by her sisters which are "Beauty trainers" that don't take challengers. They also use the pool for things like plays and
festival-like events. (usually the girly cliché stuff.) Misty rarely gets gym battles.

I dont think it is potraying false image. Creators just want to explore all the dimensions of the pokemon, so they have one for catching, one for battling and one for pokemon contest. Nothing to do with why girls are participating in contest. Its up to you how u see it, I think the problem is in you only.

It's still very much an anime with a ton of wasted potential, imagine if we only had a quarter of all the fillers that don't bring any development, and instead we had episodes like this one or the one before, how much better the series could've been.

Yh they only showed 2 moves ie mach punch and flame charge or flame wheel that ever it was

The moves were Flare Blitz and Mach Punch

It was Flare Blitz (Japanese Flare Drive), not Flame Wheel or Charge

He cannot use them at once.. rules say only can use one in battle. you gotta choose either z-move, mega evo or dynamax cant use all 3 or even 2.
